The Allianz Technology SE branch office of Wallisellen coordinates the supplier relationship with the global software providers and is responsible for the related purchasing activities with the aim of strengthening the purchasing position of the Allianz Group worldwide. That is why we are looking for you at the Wallisellen site.
The Global Strategic Software Procurement in Wallisellen is the first stop for all software-related procurement activities of the Allianz Group worldwide. In this challenging and varied function, you are responsible, together with a young, highly motivated team, for all strategic procurement processes in the software area, and are leading the negotiations for the software contracts at large volume, since a software agreement with +150,000 licenses is not uncommon in this area. What you do - Conduct market analysis, predict future trends and design a category strategy together with the global procurement leadership and major business stakeholders. Facilitate implementation of the approved sourcing strategies
- Set up tenders and lead processes for Group-wide contracts in alignment with internal stakeholders e.g. Finance, Legal and key Business Owners from global entities
- Lead negotiations of new deals and major renewals not only for commercial terms but also legal language to mitigate future risks and to secure full flexibility on an international strategic level for the best optimized value proposition (i.e. business planning, TCO modeling)
- Lead the planning and execution of demand collection at global level incl. active development and management of a supplier portfolio
- Build trustful relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders and acting as Business Partner to drive the Global Procurement Transformation agenda in Allianz as well as to facilitate activities towards relevant hierarchical levels on the part of the suppliers
- Implement standards and optimize processes in the area of IT software licenses
- Manage and guide operational activities along the value chain of the procurement process (such as the use of the procurement toolkit, operational procurement delivery, catalogue management, contract management), and leverage collaboration tools in the M365 environment
- Participation in the execution and preparation of market studies, benchmarks and analyzes
- Strong target orientation and self-initiative with the ability to coordinate complex issues
What you bring - Completed studies in business economics or business/ IT engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of +5 years of professional experience in global strategic procurement with strong focus in Infrastructure and Mainframe software. Solid record of IBM PA portfolio and contracting preferred
- Deep knowledge of contract law for software and licenses (software license, software maintenance, etc.)
- Knowledge of different negotiation methods and experiences in the independent conduct of negotiations including project management
- Fluent in English - German and other language skills are an advantage
- Safe handling of MS-Office and SAP Ariba
- Strong communication skills in combination with customer centricity
- Number affinity, analytical skills
- High level of self-initiative, commitment and the ability to work independently
- Team player mentality with a high commitment, who takes ownership of his subjects and tasks
