The IT Governance Manager is the right hand of the CIO with a focus on the IT Operating Model, IT Service Portfolio and Management, IT Performance Tracking, SLA Control, including SLA charging, etc. As part of the global growth path of IT, it is the IT Governance Manager's responsibility to develop and implement an overarching Operating Model, with a special focus on the IT processes, such as IT Demand Management, Change Management, Vendor and Contract Management, etc. and make sure that all IT members understand IT practices and apply and promote them in daily operations.
Finally, he or she will represent the IT ways of working in forums and boards, e.g. in IT auditing, ISO auditing, etc.

Your daily contribution:
- Develop and lead the effective governance of IT processes and IT performance
- identify together with the IT Leadership team the IT core processes and secure the proper process documentation and accessibility in the organization
- process implementation & performance
- user adoption
- example processes: demand management, incident management, contract management, vendor management, problem management, etc.
- Develop and implement IT process management methods, processes, and standards to ensure efficiency and quality in process execution (examples digitalization of processes in ServiceNow, piloting with Microsoft or other vendors for further automation, usage of AI for automatic case management, etc.)
- IT KPI Management
- Identify together with the IT Leadership team the appropriate KPIs to make the IT deliverables transparent and rate the performance.
- Implement appropriate dashboards to visualize IT performance.
- Translate IT delivery and performance into simple and meaningful executive reporting that can be used with Burckhardt executive Management but also with the wider audience to make IT transparent and understandable.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements towards IT and ensure their fulfillment
- Promote IT as an incubator for Digitalization and support the professionalization of IT services and the outside perception
- Represent IT ways of working in forums and boards, such as IT auditing, ISO auditing, etc.. Manage auditors, facilitate the process, channel topics into and out of IT. Manage, track and follow up on audit mitigation actions
Your Profile:
- Degree in relevant field such as computer science or business administration or equivalent professional qualification, preferred MBA
- Extensive understanding and track record in IT Service Management, Service Definition, Service Implementation and Service Operations
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, etc., preferably not entry certificates but advanced training
- Practical in-depth experience in the definition and implementation of IT Operating Models
- Experience with globally distributed cross-functional teams
- Experience in delivering IT projects
- Experience in change and transformation management
- Experience working with senior leadership and confidence in communication at all levels
- Industry experience is a plus
- Proficiency knowledge in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
