To support our People Development team at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking for a
GLOBAL PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (100%)

Reporting to the Head of Global People Development (PDv), the role works closely with our Central/Regional/Market/HQ/MZ HR and Business Leaders to orchestrate and implement the People Development (PDv) strategy. Attract, develop, retain internal talent and build an effective pipeline of people for key positions. Contribute to the development of capable workforce to reach IWC ambition.
The role is a key driver in shaping our culture of development, collaboration and performance, driving innovative and impactful initiatives. You partner with Group Talent, Learning & Development and Performance teams to synergize efforts for effective capability development and lasting behavioral change.
YOUR MISSION AT IWC.
Shape and roll-out the PDv Strategy together with the Head of Global PDv.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders across levels/regions/markets, enlist their collective commitment on the PDv priorities.
Act as a Center of Excellence by working closely with Regional/Market/HQ/MZ HR leaders to cultivate and embed a strong culture of intentional, perpetual learning.
Make people know what needs to be done in PDv while contributing to IWC culture.
Learning & Development
- Lead end-to-end design, implementation and scaling of a global, modern and effective learning strategy and ecosystem
- Understand the business needs/priorities and translate them into impactful learning solutions to build people capabilities and bridge skills gaps
- Perform learning needs assessment, develop learning modules and refresh existing ones, and provide recommendations on appropriate learning initiatives that engage learners and produce desired outcomes
- Manage and develop our IWC L&D Catalogue, yearly training plan deployment and communication
- Develop, monitor and adjust the L&D budget, vendor management, manage reporting and tracking of all learning initiatives
- Measure learning solutions’ success and effectiveness, proactively share improvements
- Manage coordination and logistics learning events with our partners and venues
- Champion our IWC Academy (LMS) by evolving, leveraging and scaling up learning technologies and tools to enhance accessibility and engagement
Talent Management & Development
- Support the Talent Management & Development Agenda of attracting, developing and retaining internal key people to enable sustainable business performance and growth
- Accelerate internal mobility by participating and sharing talents in Group cross Maisons-Markets Talent Exchanges
- Support the annual Talent Cycle by partnering closely with the Head of Global PDv Development, Regional/Market/HQ/MZ HR and Business Leaders ensuring excellence on key people’s IDP and key positions’ succession planning
- Build, develop and nurture strong internal talent pipeline proactively for long term success and succession purposes
- Bring value in terms of partnership by sharing market trends and talent insights to the business and HR Community
- Participate in various global, regional, local initiatives to optimize and elevate our function and business
Performance Excellence
- Drive and manage My Performance Journey cycle: My Priorities and My Development communication campaign, initiatives implementation
- Support the development of a coaching and feedback culture
- Provide guidance and support to Regional/Market/HQ/MZ HR and Business Leaders
- Monitor and track progress on both My Priorities and My Development
Leadership Development
- Support the Global PDv Strategy roll-out to grow and inspire excellence as an integrated approach that includes programs, systems and culture
- Manage the Leadership Programs for Senior, Middle Management and Signature Programs enhancing and preparing current/future Leaders to perform at best in their roles
- Measure leadership effectiveness and provide top management with the necessary data
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE JOURNEY.
- Bachelor’s (Master is a plus) degree with 3-5 years’ experience in People Development balancing strategic thinking with flawless execution
- Forward-thinking trusted partner with strong business acumen, exceptional understanding of PDv best practices and proven ability to translate the business needs into impactful solutions
- Proven track record of supporting teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, matrix and global environment
- An interpersonally and culturally savvy relationship-builder with ability to engage and influence all levels of leaders and stakeholders.
- Result-driven, strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive business value through innovative and effective PDv initiatives
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a diverse and inclusive organization
- Tech-savviness with strong knowledge of PDv technologies, digital platforms, and emerging trends
- Excellent command of oral and written English and German
