We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking M365 Collaboration Engineer to join our team in Zürich. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern workplace technologies and thrives in designing secure, scalable, and user-centric collaboration solutions.
This role requires someone who is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders. You will be responsible for shaping the future of digital collaboration at Vontobel by managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 services — including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 Copilot — and integrating them seamlessly into our business processes.

What would your role be?
- Design, deploy, troubleshoot and manage Microsoft Sharepoint Online, Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft M365 CoPilot to facilitate seamless collaboration and facilitation within the global organization.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their collaboration needs and configure M365 accordingly.
- Collaborate with business and development teams to integrate SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 Copilot with other business applications and processes.
- Customize and enhance SharePoint, Exchange, and Copilot functionalities to meet specific compliance, governance and recording requirements of the organization.
- Monitor and optimize of SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Copilot services, proactively addressing issues and ensuring availability, security, and cost control.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the modern workplace experience, ensuring employees have a secure, efficient, and user-friendly environment across the entire collaboration stack.
- Apply your practical knowledge in cloud engineering to design, automate, and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystem.
What are we looking for?
- University degree/higher education in information technology or comparable work experience (e.g. Microsoft Certification).
- Proficient understanding of IT disciplines and principles (e.g., service architecture, cloud services, etc.).
- Specialized knowledge in collaboration tools with emphasis on Microsoft Sharepoint Online, Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft M365 CoPilot.
- Optional experience with legacy Microsoft Exchange Server 2016/2019.
- Languages: German and English.
- Team-player with can-do attitude.
